Why does Talkido matter?
Early language development is critical for communication success. Talkido’s engaging approach supports students in building foundational speech and literacy skills.
The SLP introduced Talkido as part of speech therapy sessions:
Used Talkido cards for high-motivation messages, encouraging students to interact and make requests.
Created phonics activities by placing letters on cards with recorded sounds, reinforcing sound blending and segmenting.
Designed a scavenger hunt using Talkido tags, helping students practice listening and following directions.
Used picture cards for articulation practice and social interaction, including recording messages for friends.
Instant Feedback
The ability to hear letter sounds immediately reinforced phonics practice.
Flexible in Different Environments
Volume controls allowed effective use in various settings.
High Motivation
Students were highly engaged due to the novelty and voice output feature.
"Talkido provided immediate feedback that kept my students engaged. The ability to blend sounds and hear letters aloud was incredibly beneficial for phonics work."
