DIY Tags are recordable, smart stickers that let you add custom messages and attach them to real objects like toys, books, or household items. When children tap the tag with their Mio, the object becomes interactive and “talks”. *Works only with the Talkido Mio device.
Talkido DIY Tags turn everyday objects into interactive learning tools. Each tag is a flat and round sticker (1.2 in diameter) that can be recorded through the Talkido Mio device, with no time limit, so you can capture anything from simple words to detailed instructions.

Can I teach new words to my child with Talkido?
Yes. Talkido helps children learn and practice new words through play, repetition, and everyday activities. You can use ready-to-use Playsets or personalize Talkido with words that are meaningful to your child, then practice them naturally during routines, books, games, and play.
How many cards and tags can Mio recognize?
Mio can store up to 5,000 cards and tags, far more than any family will need. You can add new ones from our store anytime, and reuse customizable tags as your child's vocabulary grows.
Can I record my own voice, songs, and sentences on Talkido cards? Is there a recording time limit?
Yes. Talkido cards and tags are fully recordable, and there is no recording time limit. You can record your own voice saying single words, short sentences, questions, songs, sound effects, familiar names, or a whole bedtime story. Many recordable cards and buttons for kids cut off after a few seconds; Talkido never does, so you never have to rush through a sentence or cut a song short. Mio holds over 20 hours of audio, which is more than enough for every voice, song, and story your family will want to add for speech and language practice.
What if my child puts the cards or tags in their mouth or chews on them?
Talkido products are designed with children in mind, but cards and tags are not intended to be chew toys. If your child frequently mouths or chews objects, we recommend supervised use and checking the cards and tags regularly for damage. Talkido tags contain small parts and are not suitable for children under 3.
