Track progress, know the next steps
Follow your child’s progress and get personalized guidance on what to practice next.

My First Words: Explorer completes the curriculum: Sets 7–10 of the My First Words curriculum, 36 cards, the final steps of the spiral program designed to match children's developmental pace. *Works only with the Talkido Mio device.
Sequenced after Sets 1–6, these cards move toward more complex language, so children keep progressing step by step. Learning, question and game cards keep practice interactive, screen-free and fun.
Every card offers three developmental recording levels: single words, short phrases and simple sentences. All levels are included and can be set through the Talkido App, helping children move from naming objects to building phrases and practicing conversations.
Explorer supports children with autism, speech delays and English language learners with consistent, engaging language practice at home, at school and in therapy.

"One of the advantages of the Talkido system is the portability of the Mio device that activates the recording. This has allowed us to better teach social approach to the conversational recipient by moving the location of the Mio device. We look forward to exploring other options that the system provides!"

Amanda Freeman
Executive DirectorPrinceton Child Development Center
“My son has so much fun with Talkido! He usually doesn’t repeat what I say, but when Talkido plays, he repeats it. He’s actually started using words that he hears from Talkido. We’re really happy with his progress, can’t decide what to teach next.”

Ally T
Parent of 5-years-old
"The sound letter matching and phonics activities are much more engaging for my students with talkido."

“We use Talkido during story time, and it works wonders for kiddos who usually aren’t interested in books. They really enjoy it! They play with the books, listen to the words, and start repeating them. It’s been an amazing way to make reading fun and engaging.”

Yes. Talkido helps children learn and practice new words through play, repetition, and everyday activities. You can use ready-to-use Playsets or personalize Talkido with words that are meaningful to your child, then practice them naturally during routines, books, games, and play.
Mio can store up to 5,000 cards and tags, far more than any family will need. You can add new ones from our store anytime, and reuse customizable tags as your child's vocabulary grows.
Yes. Talkido cards and tags are fully recordable, and there is no recording time limit. You can record your own voice saying single words, short sentences, questions, songs, sound effects, familiar names, or a whole bedtime story. Many recordable cards and buttons for kids cut off after a few seconds; Talkido never does, so you never have to rush through a sentence or cut a song short. Mio holds over 20 hours of audio, which is more than enough for every voice, song, and story your family will want to add for speech and language practice.
Talkido products are designed with children in mind, but cards and tags are not intended to be chew toys. If your child frequently mouths or chews objects, we recommend supervised use and checking the cards and tags regularly for damage. Talkido tags contain small parts and are not suitable for children under 3.
