One-year limited warranty for Talkido Mio

Every Talkido Mio is covered by a one-year limited warranty from the date of delivery. If your Mio stops working because of a manufacturing or hardware defect during that year, we replace it with a new device at no cost, including shipping both ways. No repairs, no waiting for parts.

What is covered

  • Defects in materials or workmanship of the Mio device
  • Buttons, speaker, battery, charging and card reading that stop working under normal use
  • Devices that will not power on or charge when used with the supplied USB-C to micro-USB cable

What is not covered

  • Damage from drops, liquids, extreme heat or cold, or chewing
  • Damage from unauthorized repair, modification or opening the device
  • Normal wear such as scratches and fading
  • Battery problems after the first year (battery defects within the first year are covered)
  • Loss or theft
  • Cards, tags, Cardholders, the Puki Carrying Case and other accessories (these are covered by our 30-day return policy instead)

How to make a warranty claim

  1. Email wecare@talkido.co with your order number, a short description of the problem and, if possible, a photo or short video. We reply within one business day (Monday to Friday, 9am–7pm ET).
  2. We may ask you to try a few quick steps (for example a full charge or a restart). Most issues are resolved at this stage.
  3. If the device needs replacing, we send a new Mio with a prepaid return label for the old one. Your recordings stay on the old device; we will help you re-record or restore content from the Talkido App where it was backed up.

The warranty applies to the original purchaser and to devices bought from talkido.com or an authorized Talkido reseller. It gives you specific legal rights; you may also have other rights that vary by state.
